Today  I have been watching James Robison  and his wife Betty.

Their guest was  Shane Warren .http://shanewarren.org/  His book ” The Last Days of America”   is available   http://shanewarren.org/resources/thelastdaysofamerica/

The discussion has been on   whether the USA has gone too far afield of what God wants for us.

Both James Robison and Shane Warren have written books on this subject.

James Robison’s book is Indivisble.   It is co authored by Pastor Jay W Richards.

This book is intriguing .  It fully describes the way this nation has turned from God to following a path of sure destruction.

Here is a link on Amazon  to a synopsis  and part of the first several chapters.

http://www.amazon.com/Indivisible-Restoring-Family-Freedom-Before/dp/1455503142#reader_1455503142

I found that this book  really describes both in historical content and in what is happening in our nation today.

When this nation was formed  God was paramount in all levels of government, daily life and the plans for the future

Now  our president , yes in small letters no caps  , since I do not believe he is entitled to the office nor the title.    He is the first potus to leave our troops behind. He is the first potus to abandon our Ambassador. He did nothing to prevent the rapes and murders of US citizens.      He is the first potus to create racial discord.   He has done in my opinion so much to destroy the faith of Christians in the USA.

In this country  Christians,Jews and Buddhists are not allowed to pray in school.  The partisan behavior or  politically ahem correct  leaders of our nation allow  Moslems to pray in schools.

Dearborn MI  and Chicago IL  both allow this.  Now others are following suit.

Our potus  is in favor of removing God from the pledge of allegiance,  money ,buildings, funerals for our troops no matter what their beliefs are.

On the other hand a Moslem sits in Fort Hood  charged with and confessed murder of our troops.    That man can pray at will.  He is given special foods, time for prayer and other benefits not given other prisoners.  I do not understand this at all.

I was raised to believe and practice that  all men are created equal.

I could go on for days with all the info gathered on the internet,tv,radio and newspapers  the  misguided behavior ,or is it intentional destruction of this nation.

Shane Warren’s book deals very closely with the history of the USA, her people, and their connection to God.   The blessings  they received in the USA  was what made this nation great.

Shane Warren and James Robison both speak of the hope  for the USA, the indecisiveness of the public, the media and all the unwillingness to change the path we are on by our leaders.

Both books give hope.  They remind us that if we want to change this nation we must stand up for the US Constitution, our faith, and each other.

No man is an island. No man stands alone,  unless we all  hide from the truth.

We all tell God what we want, how we feel, yet   do we listen to HIM?

We are His. We as Joyce Meyer says     our hearts are Christ’s home.

I strongly encourage you to look past what you see in the news and find the truth.I sincerely hope that you read both books.  I want to see this as a chance to rebuild our nation under GOD.

If we do nothing  our nation will have drawn her last breath.  As we see our president has broken the law by allowing  illegal immigrants into the nation. He has cast aside those seeking legal methods for entry.  It appears that in and of itself has endangered our national security,as well as the security and safety of all Americans.

I ask that you all do not  fall prey to the racist remarks of our leaders.  If America is separated into many factions she will not survive.

Do not go along with what you know is wrong.

Pastor Martin Niemoller  said it best:

Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me–and there was no one left to speak for me.

Do not allow this to happen.    Honor God.  Respect the laws of the USA. Help each other. Stand up against the evil that has overtaken our government.

Do not hide but  stand tall…  We can not allow  genocide, of any kind.

Show others the path to freedom must remain clear.

Yes all of this is my opinion  and strong belief.    I wish our leaders well , and pray for them . I thank God my opinions are protected by the US Constitution.   For now…

“God’s love can only unleash its power when it is allowed to change us from within. We have to let it break through the hard crust of our indifference, our spiritual weariness, our blind conformity to the spirit of this age. Only then can we let it ignite our imagination and shape our deepest desires.” – Benedict XVI

“Friends, again I ask you, what about today? What are you seeking? What is God whispering to you? The hope which never disappoints is Jesus Christ. The saints show us the selfless love of his way. As disciples of Christ, their extraordinary journeys unfolded within the community of hope, which is the Church. It is from within the Church that you too will find the courage and support to walk the way of the Lord. Nourished by personal prayer, prompted in silence, shaped by the Church’s liturgy you will discover the particular vocation God has for you. Embrace it with joy. You are Christ’s disciples today. Shine his light upon this great city and beyond. Show the world the reason for the hope that resonates within you. Tell others about the truth that sets you free.

–Pope Benedict XVI

What really maters in life is that we are loved by Christ and that we love Him in return. In comparison to the love of Jesus, everything else is secondary. And, without the love of Jesus, everything is useless” – Pope John Paul IISee More

There are so many learned people seeking what they have not found yet. So many people seem lost in our world today.

How many people are addicted to drugs, porn, cigarettes, food addictions, violent behavior, alcohol, you name it there are addictions too many to name. These people can be family, friends ,neighbors, acquaintances, or those we have not met.

All those in need are searching for something that seems out of reach, but is at hand.

God is there waiting to hear from us. If we come to him daily and begin a personal relationship with Him we will bring our lives full circle.  God is there for us through all circumstances. He is the one we can lean on and let Him handle all our problems, release our fears to,share our joys with and He does listen. He sent His Son  Jesus Christ to atone for our sins.   God does hear us, loves us and cares for and about us.

We may not see a direct correlation in what we pray for and what we receive .Sometimes those unanswered prayers are the hardest to deal with. We just do not see fully the same picture of our lives that He sees.

When we think we are in love with a person , is it love, true abiding love, the kind where you would give your life for? Could it be we think they are the one, but God sees more clearly knowing our hearts need protection?  Could it be that He knows what lies in the heart and soul of the one we are enamored of?

Some are called to serve in differing ways, yet  each one is of great value to our Father.   Who else knows our hearts better?

How many times as kids did our parents tell us..:” He/she is not the one for you”   ?   How many times were they right.

Yes sometimes they made mistakes . They are our parents and we make mistakes too.  God is the only one who is perfect and does not make mistakes.

I often  wonder how magnificent is our God? He is the beginning and the end. He is all knowing and all loving. He puts up with us daily, our foibles, flaws, lack of attention we give our relationship with Him.  I am sure that relationship can grow exponentially if we follow His word. We have to let God into every part of our lives. We have to take responsibility for our actions, show love for our fellow man, and Honor our Father in all we do.

How long have the American people allowed God to be removed from our schools, political events, sporting events, and daily lives?  How must God feel when we remove His name from our buildings?

How can we expect our kids and grandkids to trust God when we sweep Him our of our lives?  What kind of example are we setting?

God loves us. Father God created us . He blessed this USA with freedoms that no other country in the world had. We were blessed when we followed His rules.

We seem to have lost that blessing some are saying.   We THE People  can restore the blessings to this country , and her people if we follow His rules, welcome Him and His LOVE  back into our hearts, minds and the USA.

God is Love,

Patti

Allelujiah , the Lord our Messiah’s birth celebration draws nigh.

This is a season of love. We are to love our neighbors, as ourselves.   The feast of His birth should be filled with joy.

There are so many people who do not even have a roof over their heads, food on their tables, clothes to wear,no medical care, jobs or family to be with.

Yet some of us seem so full of ourselves that we can just create havoc. I do not get this.  We do not know each other, how we live, what the pain in our lives is. We do not know the humbleness or beauty of the spirit of the one we attack.

The fact of the matter is that we are all people, we bleed when cut, die without love, suffer when we are hurt.

I pray that all people receive the blessings they need to accomplish the desires of their hearts and souls.  I ask God to bless my enemies, as they are His children too.   I am not being holier than thou, rather I have learned in my life that there are many more important things than me.

I do need to learn that I am valuable, and have to learn that it is ok not to be the answer to everyone’s problems. I do need to learn to take care of me for a change.

I have to admit that I would still reach out to  help my detractor’s. That is my nature. I have been bitten by the good Samaritan bug.  When we learned that in Sunday School,  I knew what it felt to be the injured person. I knew I could help those around me, and not let the other person down.  I am far from perfect, and I still try to be a good person. I will not let anyone take that away from me.

The truth in the world is that some people prefer to be sheep and be lead. Others will be leaders, whether  they want to be or not.  They take the initiative to do for others and show the world that love does exist.

They have the faith in their fellow human being. They believe as I do that most people are good. I want to believe that, so I choose that path.

I will not let anyone change the way I behave toward others or that I believe people are good.   I am responsible for myself.  That is enough for any one person to deal with.

“I pray that all who read this blog will be blessed by God.

I pray that peace enters their hearts and minds. I pray for my enemies that they will know forgiveness.   I pray that I can be the woman God wants me to be. I am a work in progress. amen”
